Burned by separation from the gopīs — though Kṛṣṇa is supremely full, in the līlā he plays at the suffering of viraha (separation) when he tests the gopīs.

Whose bath was made by the gopīs — the Kātyāyanī-vrata episode begins with the gopīs bathing in the Yamunā as part of their month-long worship; Kṛṣṇa's bath is a constant gopī-service.

'Of long arms (pralamba-bāhu)' — Kṛṣṇa's arms are described as reaching down to his knees, a mark of regal beauty in the Vedic anatomy; same epithet for Rāma in the Rāmāyaṇa.

With a fully-blossomed white lotus as ear-ornament — the gopīs see Kṛṣṇa with this ornament at the Kātyāyanī episode; the image is celebrated in devotional poetry.
