The Names in This Verse (4)

248 aṅgulyantaravinyastaphalaḥ

holding morsels between his fingers

S.B.G 10.13.9

'With fruits placed between his fingers' — Kṛṣṇa holds different fruits between different fingers while eating, the cowherd manner of multi-fruit eating; the gesture is observed by everyone.

249 paramapāvanaḥ

the supremely purifying

S.B.G 10.13.10

'Supremely purifying' — even ordinary food becomes sanctified when eaten with Kṛṣṇa; the place where he sits, the leaves on which the meal is laid — all become purifying tīrthas.

250 adṛśyatarṇakānveṣī

who went searching for the vanished calves

S.B.G 10.13.15

'Searching for the missing calves' — during the Brahma-vimohana, the calves go missing; Kṛṣṇa and the friends search for them through the woods, calling their names.

251 vallavārbhakabhītihā

who banished the cowherd boys' fear

S.B.G 10.13.30

'Remover of fear from cowherd children' — when the calves and boys are inexplicably stolen by Brahmā, Kṛṣṇa replaces them perfectly without telling the parents, removing all fear.
