Verse 19

सुजातजातकर्म श्रीर् गोपीभद्रोक्तिनिर्वृतः ।अलीकनिद्रोपगमः पूतनास्तनपीडनः॥

Auspicious in the jātakarman rite — the customary birth ritual is performed for the infant; sages performing it privately know they are celebrating no ordinary child.

97 gopībhadroktinirvṛtaḥ

delighted by the gopīs' auspicious blessings

Gladdened by the auspicious words of the gopīs — Gokula women sing auspicious songs over the child; their words of blessing fill him with contentment.

98 alīkanidropagamaḥ

who feigned sleep

Who gave the guards a false sleep — the prison guards do not fall into natural sleep; they sleep by the Lord's own Yoga-māyā so that Vasudeva can exit unalarmed.

99 pūtanāstanapīḍanaḥ

who pressed and crushed Pūtanā's breast

S.B.G 10.6.6

Kṛṣṇa grasps Pūtanā's poisoned breast and squeezes with such force that her ribcage is crushed; she tries to push him away but cannot break his suckling grip.
